The last 24 hours have been somewhat changeable. The rain yesterday passed but the wind dropped and we have had to motor through the night, a little depressing as Disco is better under sail than engine. The crew have, in the main, fully recovered from seasickness and are into a good routine. This morning the weather was much better, sunny with cloud and the ever present rain clouds around, fortunately they have so far passed us by. The crew have had sail sails up and down and we have changed the No2 Yankee for the No 1 Yankee but we are still having to motor sail. Hopefully the wind will improve today.
FROM THE CREWS QUARTERS
With the last member of red watch feeling better from sea sickness everyone is working well and the morale is up now that we have a full appetite to eat and the food has been very good so far with not many complaints. The weather is very warm today so there is plenty of opportunity to get a good tan, but the wind isn’t very strong so we have had to have the engine on, it’s was on for about ten hours last night.
